New numbering
plan for SMS shortcodes
A new Royal Decree will restructure the numbering plan that
is used for SMS shortcodes. Several ranges will be added
and SMS services will be regrouped. This means certain client services
will have to be switched to other shortcodes. MobileWeb.be is working
hard with the operators and other WASPs to keep the impact as low
as possible. More
info on the numbering plan here.
Els De Schepper
incorporates SMS in stage show
Flemish comedian Els De Schepper collaborated with MobileWeb.be
to incorporate a SMS game into her new show 'Supervrouw'.
The audience was asked to send a SMS with their idea what Els was
still lacking to be a 'Super woman'. Els read the most original
ideas directly on her laptop and called a winner to the stage. MobileWeb.be
is proud to work with one of Flanders' most talented entertainers
to introduce this kind of interactivity in her show.

of the mobile phone and the characteristics of its reach. Yet
the mobile operators have tons of information regarding segmentation,
demographics, use, adoption, devices,... For those hungry for numbers,
we
provide some interesting figures on our blog.
