SMS Gateway

The MobileWeb SMS Gateway contains 3 modules:

• Transmission of Mobile Terminated (MT) messages: transmission of SMS bulk messages (text, logo or ringtones) to individuals or groups. These messages can be sent in real time or planned for future transmission.
  
  
• Transmission of Mobile Terminated Reverse Billed (MTR) messages: transmission of SMS messages to individuals who pay the communication costs. These messages can be sent in real time or planned for future transmission.
  
  
• Delivery of Mobile Originated (MO) messages: automatic delivery of SMS messages sent from a mobile phone to a shortcode. Consequently these messages are sent to your application.

These SMS messages can be sent to/received from your contacts independant of your mobile operator (being Proximus, Mobistar of Base).

The communication between your application or website and our SMS server happens through a http interface:

• Transmission of SMS (MT/MTR): you send a SMS using a http script: with your data, the phone number and SMS message as parameters. You receive via XML on our server a confirmation of reception.
  
  
• Delivery of SMS (MO): you provide us a http script which we can use to post the received SMS messages on our server.

Confirmation of delivery:
With our web interface you can always consult the report containing the results of delivery. Optionally, we offer you a http interface (in real time) or ftp for the automatic communication of the delivery confirmations.
