November 3, 2009: DataNews chooses MobileWeb.be technology for mobile site
m.datanews.be, the recently launched mobile site of DataNews, was entirely developed by MobileWeb.be, Belgian specialist in Mobile Internet and SMS solutions. The site is optimized for iPhone, Blackberry and other smartphones. With the addition of Datanews' mobile site, MobileWeb further grows its portfolio of mobile media, which also includes the mobile sites of De Standaard, Het Nieuwsblad, Jobat, VDAB, Nikon and Stad Gent. October 21, 2009: MobileWeb develops De Standaard iPhone app, first paying news application in Benelux
De Standaard has launched its own mobile application for the iPhone. This app was developed by MobileWeb.be, Belgian specialist in SMS and mobile internet solutions. MobileWeb.be was previously also responsible for the creation of the successful mobile site m.standaard.be. The app of De Standaard, now available in the Apple App Store, is the first paying iPhone news application in the Benelux. July 17, 2009: MobileWeb launches mobile agenda for Gentse Feesten
During the annual 'Gentse Feesten' (July 18th till July 27th), festival lovers can consult the full program by surfing with their mobile phone or smartphone on the mobile site m.gent.be. Except for the overview per day, per square and per music style, the site also offers news articles of De Gentenaar (the newspaper that is also available on the mobile: m.gentenaar.be) For this project, MobileWeb.be collaborated with Digipolis. Both parties were assigned by the city of Ghent.
May 15, 2009: Mobile landing page for Peugeot campaign
MobileWeb has developed a mobile landing page for
Peugeot, to promote the new 308 CC and specifically its Airwave neck warming system, which allows to drive this cabrio in every season. Mobile advertising banners on mobile sites such as De Standaard Mobile lead to the mobile landing page with info on this car model. Consumers who are interested in a test drive, can leave their coordinates and will be contacted by a Peugeot dealer in their neighborhood. Read more on the blog.
April 27, 2009: MobileWeb builds SMS Flits service for Touring Mobilis
Touring Mobilis introduces the Flits Alarm, a new mobile service allowing consumers to receive the location of traffic radars by SMS. After sending a SMS with the keyword FLITS and his postal code to the shortcode 9180, the user receives a message back, containing all traffic radars in a 50 kilometer radius. It's also possible to subscribe to the FLITSINFO service, which automatically sends new flits information in your region. Read the full press release here.
April 23, 2009: Mobile campaign for Nikon
Camera producer Nikon is promoting its product range of digital cameras with a campaign on the mobile, giving away a reduction up to 550 euro per purchase. The campaign is promoted by mobile banners, which can be found on mobile sites such as De Standaard Mobile. The banner leads to a dedicated mobile internet page. Users can fill in their coordinates and choose their region, after which they are informed by e-mail about the nearest Nikon specialists. The campaign was done in collaboration with MobileWeb.be and Tagora.
February 5, 2009: MobileWeb.be further builds its team
MobileWeb.be has further enlarged its team with four new members. Herwig Copmans (Key Account Manager) and Kevin Van Passel (Project Manager), both with a senior profile, will add their elaborate experience to the MobileWeb sales team. MobileWeb.be has been awarded with the SMS/MMS Award at the annual Mobistar Multimedia Innovation Awards. This prestigious

November 28, 2008: MobileWeb creates Nieuwsblad Mobile for Corelio
After De Standaard and Jobat, Het Nieuwsblad now also has received a mobile metamorphosis. Strong points are the regional news for each Flemish community, and the live reporting at sport games. Furthermore, there general and showbizz news, and an events calendar. For this project, Corelio has again collaborated with integration partner MobileWeb.be. Het Nieuwsblad Mobile can be read by surfing with your mobile phone to m.nieuwsblad.be, or by sending a free sms with the code "NB" to the number 8080. MobileWeb.be has launched a mobile internet website for the VDAB. This gives the possibility to search a job on your mobile phone, no matter where you are. The site m.vdab.be is available for free on every GSM, smartphone, iPhone and Blackberry with WAP function. With this introduction on the mobile internet, the VDAB further extends their services for job searchers. MobileWeb has created the mobile job portal Jobat Mobile for Corelio. Based on the unique Mobile Web Server, jobs and career advice are optimally presented on every GSM, Blackberry and iPhone. MobileWeb has previously developed De Standaard Mobile for Corelio. A job search on the mobile site can be done by function, by region or by sector. April 17, 2008: Flair mobile campaign for
diet
Another mobile campaign by Sanoma and MobileWeb.be is the SMS Coach,
a service given to readers of the woman magazine Flair.
Women who want to loose some pounds and need some support during their
diet, can send the keyword COACH by SMS to the shortcode 3037 (0,75
euro/sms sent and received). They will then receive a SMS message
every day during one week, giving them advice, diet tips and support.
April 17, 2008: Libelle mobile campaign for
Mother's Day
Sanoma has worked with MobileWeb.be to set up a mobile campaign for
Mother’s Day. They’ve chosen to advertise this
campaign through their magazine Libelle.
The objective was to let people send a nice message for Mother’s
Day by SMS. All messages will appear on the Libelle
website and a selection in the May 8th issue of Libelle magazine.
The funniest, sweetest and most creative message wins a luxurious
wellness weekend for two.
January 18, 2008: New Sales Manager for MobileWeb.be
Laurence Romain has joined MobileWeb.be as Sales Manager. She
brings an extended experience in similar sales positions for Proximus
and Netsize. Furthermore, the sales team has been re-inforced with
Michaël Pierre, who as Senior Business Developer will

December 14, 2007: MobileWeb.be wins two
Mobistar Awards
MobileWeb.be was the big winner at the annual Mobistar Innovation
Awards, which took place yesterday at 'Living Tomorrow'. The prestigious
PlazZza Award was acknowledged to the dealer locator for Audi. The
emergency alerting platform Helpi was rewarded with the SMS Award.
MobileWeb.be is no stranger at the Mobistar Innovation Awards. This
year's awards follow previous prizes for their Mobile Tools (2004),
Laundromat SMS service (2005) and Samsung (2006). Danny Lein, Managing

Mobile seminar
More than 130 professionals participated last Thursday at the Web
Goes Mobile seminar at Business Faculty. Operators and advertisers
gave an extensive update on Mobile Internet and its opportunities,
including presentations by Proximus, Mobistar, Emakina, Screentonic
and eBay Belgium.
The event, filling in its second edition a full room of interested
professionals, was an initiative of MobileWeb.be, Belgian provider
of mobile solutions and leader on the domain of Mobile Internet. Managing
Director Danny Lein adds: “Our main goal of Web Goes Mobile
is proving the potential of the Mobile Internet for marketeers. On
the seminar, operators, providers and advertisers have all together

November 12, 2007: Earn money with your mobile
Pumbby launches a new service on the MobileWeb.be platform, that allows
people to earn revenue with their mobile phone. All you need to do,
is accept advertising on your mobile. Mobile subscribers can register
on the Pumbby website and decide how many advertisements they wish
to receive (with a maximum of 10 per day). For each advertising message
that he reads, the consumer can receive up to 44 eurocent. If he completes
personal data, such as age, gender, etc... on the website, the advertising
will be personalised and as such better targeted. With the earned
revenue, the consumer can buy in the online Pumbby shop (CD, DVD,
movie tickets, etc...), or use the money to pay his GSM bill. It's
also possible to transfer the money to his personal bank account.

October 25, 2007: Els De Schepper incorporates
SMS in stage show
Yesterday evening, Flemish comedy entertainer Els De Schepper presented
her new show 'Supervrouw'
in the Elisabethzaal in Antwerp. In this stage show, De Schepper talks
about the demands of today's society for women, who have to be beautiful,
smart, funny, happy,... all at once. In a way to discuss today's technologies
and marketing evolutions, she also incorporated a SMS game in the
show, in collaboration with MobileWeb.be. People in the audience were
asked to send a SMS message with their idea what Els was still lacking
to be a 'Supervrouw' (superwoman). Els read the most original ideas
directly on her laptop on stage. The woman who replied she only needed
"angel wings" was called on her mobile and then brought
to stage to receive a prize. MobileWeb.be is proud to work with one
of Flanders' most talented entertainers to introduce this form of
interactivity in her show.
July 25, 2007: Transformers trailer in new
movie channel on PlazZza
For the first time, a large film distributer makes use of PlazZza,
the search portal for Mobile Internet sites, launched last year by
the Belgian mobile operators. With the launch of trailers on PlazZza,
Universal Pictures International (UPI) wishes to integrate the mobile
channel into its promotional campaigns. Especially for this campaign
MobileWeb.be and the agency Mec:interaction made sure that PlazZza
was extended with a separate movie channel, which included the Transformers
film trailer. To download the trailer of the new movie Transformers,

June 20, 2007: Download the Duvel ad song
Duvel's TV campaign, including the beautiful imagery of the tornado's
on the fields of grain, can now be watched on the Duvel
website. MobileWeb.be has made it possible to download the music
of this campaign on your mobile phone. Simply sms the keyword 'duvel'
to 3455 (0,15EUR /sms) and you'll receive a wap push link to the MP3
file (first check if your mobile supports MP3 and is GPRS/WAP compatible).

Do you remember the fun taglines on the Hoegaarden beer coasters?
The Belgian brewer has relaunched this, though in a modern version.
In collaboration with MobileWeb.be you can now send your original

MobileWeb.be is the first market player that uses the full advertising
possibilities of PlazZza.
With a banner campaign about the services of his client Play.be, MobileWeb.be
is delivering a first in Belgium regarding mobile marketing. The banners
can be seen on the search pages of PlazZza, the search portal for
Mobile Internet sites, launched last year by the Belgian mobile operators.

December 19, 2006: MobileWeb.be wins Mobistar
Innovation Award
MobileWeb.be has once again won an award at the annual Multimedia
Innovation Awards, organised by Mobistar. Our campaign for the launch
of the new mobile phone model Samsung E500 was awarded in the category
PlazZza.
In a print campaign the consumer is stimulated to send the hitcode
Samsung to the PlazZza shortcode 4444 in order to get further informed
on this phone type. With this award, the Mobistar jury showed their
appreciation for the innovative character of this Belgian scoop.
December 15, 2006: Club Brugge on PlazZza
MobileWeb.be introduces Club Brugge on the PlazZza
portal. After the Samsung Fun Club this is the second large market
player that uses this via dit platform for its mobile marketing. The
brand new mobile internet site of soccer team Club Brugge not only
contains an informative part but also interactive services, keeping

November 15, 2006: Samsung launches first
PlazZza campagne
Today Samsung, in collaboration with MobileWeb.be and Mocreate, launches
the first mobile marketing campagne that makes use of PlazZza.
The introduction of the new mobile phone model Samsung E500 will be
largely advertised in the French and Dutch speaking magazines, such
as Flair, Libelle and Télémoustique. The advertisings
will incite the public to react, using their mobile, through PlazZza
and the new 4444 SMS service. PlazZza is the portal for Mobile Internet
sites, which was recently launched by the Belgian mobile operators.

July 13, 2006: VDAB chooses MobileWeb.be
The VDAB (Flemish
Public Employment Service) has chosen MobileWeb.be for the integration
of its mobile data communication. This will allow job seekers to receive
information on job opportunities by SMS. Detailed function profiles
can even be sent by MMS. The bidirectional aspect allows the person
to get in touch with the VDAB dispatch for more information.
June 9, 2006: MobileWeb.be launches its Proximus
MPay solution
MobileWeb.be is the first Belgian provider to launch a Mobile
Internet Payment Platform through which merchants can easily access
the Proximus MPay solution. This solution provides micro-payment
facilities for any amount between 0 and 10 EUR, whereby price points
can be set in a flexible way. The MobileWeb.be
MPay Gateway is fully secured and very easy to integrate in existing
mobile internet applications.
June 2, 2006: PlazZza Listing offering now
available through MobileWeb.be
As from today customers can order their listing in the PlazZza
directory of the Belgian mobile operators Proximus and Mobistar.
Through this listing customers can expect to drive more traffic to
their mobile internet shops or provide interactive tools for brand
marketing.
April 15, 2006: MobileWeb.be announces commercial
launch of its LBS Gateway
Today MobileWeb.be launches its commercial LBS (Location Based Service)
Gateway service. After several months of testing a commercial platform
is now made available for broader use. Initially only the Proximus
LBS service will be supported.
March 20, 2006: MobileWeb.be launches MMS
Gateway
Today MobileWeb.be launches its commercial MMS
Gateway service. Through this http based gateway customers can
now send and receive MMS messages from their applications. The interface
is fully XML based and MM7 compliant.
March 12, 2006: major infrastructure upgrade
implemented seamlessly
Over the past months MobileWeb.be has completely upgraded its applications
and network infrastructure. This infrastructure upgrade included
amongst other the installation of new network equipment, firewalls,
application server and database server. The transition has been very
smooth with very limited application downtime.
February 15, 2006: integration of M Cube
completed
During the past months the technical team has been working hard to
integrate the Mcube applications and messaging solutions to the MobileWeb.be
platform. As a result Mcube customers now have access to the same
features (e.g., single integrated platform for messaging
and billing) as the MobileWeb.be
customers. Advanced technology features such as binary messages, wap
push distribution, system alerts have been integrated in the core
MobileWeb.be platform to enable this transfer.

December 14, 2005: MobileWeb.be receives
Mobistar Innovation Award
Mobistar has awarded its annual Innovation Award to the MobileWeb.be
installation at Wasserij Gilberte. Through the implementation of the
MobileWeb.be
SMS Connectivity Solution, this medium sized business has been
able to reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction. The low cost
of the solution as well as the day-to-day nature of the business has
especially drawn the attention of the Jury.
April 18, 2005: MobileWeb.be acquires M Cube
Today MobileWeb.be announces it has acquired M Cube SA. With the acquisition
of M Cube the company will further grow its customer base. Furthermore
the MobileWeb.be mobile solutions
will be complemented with technology solutions of M Cube.
