In October 2009, MobileWeb presented the iPhone app for De Standaard (Flemish newspaper of the Corelio group). This mobile application was the first paying news app in the Benelux. Only one day after its launch, the app for De Standaard already ranked first of the paying apps in the Apple App Store.

• News sorted by category: Economy, Lifestyle, Sports, Culture, Opinion, Weather, etc. The order and choice of these categories can be customised. This way, your favorite categories always appear on the homepage.
• Photo Wall Browsing: select an interesting picture and discover the story behind.
• Share-function: every article can be shared on Facebook with one simple click
• Practical info: weather forecast, traffic report and TV guide
• Premium model: paying app, allowing a new source of revenue for media company
• Complementary to mobile site m.standaard.be, developed by MobileWeb in 2008
