MobileWeb.be is a top player in the market of SMS, MMS, LBS, WAP and other mobile solutions. Consequently, we organise and participate actively at several events in the sector. Below you can find an overview of our recent events.

MobileWeb.be organised the third edition of the Web Goes Mobile seminar at the Salons de Romrée, Grimbergen on 4 December 2008. This seminar presented market experience from leading industry representatives from Google, Corelio and InSites Consulting, as well as a key-note presentation by international mobile expert Paul Golding. This event was targeted to large company CEO and marketing managers, agencies and ICT/web builders. It was attended by 200 professionals.

MobileWeb.be presented a demo corner about the Mobile Internet site of De Standaard. This demo corner was part of the Media corner at the 35th ICT Symposium.

MobileWeb.be organised the second edition of the Web Goes Mobile seminar, which took place at Business Faculty, Brussels on Thursday, 8 November 2007. Representatives from the mobile operators Proximus and Mobistar presented some interesting facts and figures of the PlazZza platform. Emakina, Screentonic and eBay shared their field experience and knowledge on the Mobile Internet with the participants. In the final presentation, keynote speaker Tom Weiss (UK), author of 'Mobile Strategies' and ex-Vice President of T-Mobile, gave his opinion on current mobile evolutions. The seminar was attended by 130 professionals.

MobileWeb.be and sister company Register.be joined several other exhibitors at the second edition of Customer First. This fair was visited by more than 2000 professionals. MobileWeb.be organised a MMS game, allowing people to find their pictures on the large flat screen and participate in a tombola. Nicolas P. was the happy winner of a Nokia multimedia phone. Our Senior Business Developer Sven Bally and Managing Director Danny Lein held a workshop about Mobile Marketing and Mobile Internet.

MobileWeb.be invited a group of 30 clients and representatives from the mobile operators for a bus trip to the CeBIT in Hannover. CeBIT is one of the largest IT and communication fairs in the world, attracking nearly 450.000 visitors every year.

MobileWeb.be organised its own seminar about Mobile Internet, with the objective to inform professionals on the mobile marketing opportunities, offered by the Mobile Internet. Three keynote speakers explained specific case-studies from Sony Ericsson, Samsung and Universal Music. The lectures were followed by a business lunch. The seminar was attended by 100 professionals.

MobileWeb.be was among the top interactive marketing and communication players with a stand at the first edition of Customer First. This fair - organised by New Bizz Partners, sister company of publisher Best of Publishing - was visited by 1620 professionals. MobileWeb.be organised a SMS game, with winners receiving a 3G mobile phone, a copy of the book 'Mobile Web 2.0' or a PlazZza campaign, worth €5.000. Our Business Developer Sven Bally held a workshop about Mobile Marketing.
