LBS (Location Based
Services) |
The MobileWeb.be LBS
Gateway allows you to receive in your own web application the location
of a mobile subscriber.
Location Based Services are supported by the Belgian operator Proximus.
The LBS is permission based: to receive geographical information for
a mobile phone, the LBS service needs to be activated for the mobile
subscriber in question.

 Every
mobile phone, for which the subscriber has activated the LBS option,
can be traced. The MobileWeb.be LBS application can give you full geographical
information (XY coordinates, town, street name, street number) in Belgium.
The LBS request is posted via secure https method in XML and the response
is also provided under XML.
To use the LBS services, you need a LBS Gateway subscription (per month
or per year).
